Hand Carving Stamps!

I have found a new craft I want to try! After getting my peronsal logo turned into a stamp by some company that does it for ten bucks and seeing how much I love it... This is perfect!

Bonjour!

...in honor of my french exam today, my last test of the semester and then I am FREE to explore for a whole entire summer. This will be my last summer, ever - as a student, as a kid, before I am a "grown up" This seems to be incredibly sad to me but I WONT let it bring me down. It's just time to enjoy this last hoo-ra of a warm couple of months with nothing to do :) here I come summer... ya ready!?

Here's to gorgeous things....

So my Mom came and helped me move all my stuff back to Dallas today! She rented a pick-up truck and happily drove 4 hours up and 4 hours back down in one day - what a sweet Mom.  I still have finals so I can't go anywhere yet... Looks like she will be unloading all by herself, oops!

So every single time I move to a new place or just home for the summer, I realize how much shit I have.... Why do we need so much shit! It's not necessary. I purged my room and myself of a lot of my STUFF while packing this afternoon, made a Goodwill run, and felt MUCH better.... This image above inspired me to only keep the good and the beautiful in my life - only things I view as one of a kind, treasures.... no more shit or crap!

A Rainy Day Walk

Bubba and i decided to walk around campus instead of riding my scooter because it has been raining so much - no one likes to be caught in the rain on a scooter (trust me, it hurts!) After getting some sushi for dinner, we came across the weirdest and largest "pea pods" I have ever seen. We have NO idea what kind of tree this is but it sure does grow some crazy vegetation....

MOTHERS DAY!

So as I get older, 'making crafts' for my mother for Mother Day seems to be not as... cute! I'm 22 and should probably start getting her things that she would actually enjoy more (not that she didn't LOVE my ceramic purple dragon from 4th grade art class...) !! I found this card at Linotte's Etsy Shop and thought it was perfect - I fell in love when I saw it. So, I have the card down - now I just need to think of the gift :)

If this doesn't make you want to go swimming and long for the summer time even MORE than just the thought of it, I don't know what will!

Good Pick Urban

Hasisi Park is a photographer and filmmaker based in Seoul, South Korea. Urban Outfitters found her on Flickr and decided to have her do a shoot featuring their dresses. Good work Urban, these images are beautiful. Whata lucky girl ! !
