I went here today and now have a new favorite place to escape in Dallas. It is kind of far from my house... closer to downtown - but I don't care! It's small and in a very cool area... yeah for discovering new get-aways!

If you have not seen Born into Brothels, I strongly recommend it. It is a tribute to childhood and the restorative power of art.... These children live in the Red Light District of Calcutta, where their mothers work as prostitutes. A New York photographer comes along and gives each child their own camera and the chance to see the world in a different way.

This was one of those films that I came away from feeling so enlightened as to what's really important in life.... I want to go rent it again RIGHT NOW, and then fly to India!

....working on a Lomography brochure for my Senior Capstone Course - yes, my teacher gave me work to complete over the summer... No, I don't hate it :)

Although I do only have around 2 weeks left of summer and about 7 or 8 MORE projects to fix up... CRUNCH time begins NOW!
